男性によると、同伴拒否があったのは先月２０日。男性の妻（４３）が同駅でＪＲ名古屋駅までの新幹線の乗車券を求め、介助犬の同伴を伝えたところ、窓口職員に「（東海道新幹線を運行する）ＪＲ東海は盲導犬のみ同伴を許可しており、介助犬は認めていない。他の交通機関を利用してほしい」と拒まれた。妻は受け入れが法的義務であると説明したが理解されず、男性本人が電話で交渉。最終的に職員は誤りを認めたが、発券まで３時間以上かかったという。
